S6 E1: When Church Hurts
We’re back from our summer hiatus with a very important topic. Church is supposed to be a place where people encounter grace, community and the love of Christ. But what happens when the very place that was supposed to help you heal is the place that actually ends up hurting you? If you’ve been part of a church community, chances are, you’ve experienced some level of hurt, whether it be from a trusted friend or even a leader. So how should we respond when someone tells us they’ve been hurt by the church? How do we hold others accountable for their mistakes? And perhaps, most importantly, how do we move on and separate the failures of Christians from the perfect love and character of Jesus? Tune in to hear Peter and Suah’s conversation.
